From our conductor, Patrick McConahy:
“I believe that music is one of the few kinds of real-life magic we have left, and that it is fundamental to our humanity. This community orchestra is here to create an opportunity for anyone to participating in making music. Musicians of any age or experience level are welcome, with no auditions required. It is an incredible feeling to create together, to work toward a shared goal, and to form connections with fellow ensemble members and our audience. We always aim to keep rehearsals supportive and fun with repertoire that is approachable, inspiring, and focused on steady growth so that every player has room to learn from and enjoy the music together.”
